A tinful of pieced rings ... more to go.  I've made a few more today.  I hope to have all 32 outer rings completed by next weekend.

I now have a tin full of the inner flower rings, and I'm working on the outer rings. I'm going to use the four lighter fabrics for the outer rings.

I have to go easy though because I have sewing injuries on my fingers!!

I haven't worked out the combination of fabrics for the flowers for my Jelly Garden quilt, so I've been trying to piece rogether as much of the background as possible. I'm hoping to do something about the flowers this weekend though.

I set out what I've pieced together, and the throw is larger than I thought. (This is the Consultation Room at work - during my 20 minute lunch break.)

Have spent the day on these ... and that's not even half of them! There's another couple of hundred (at least) to go! But I have to stop for today because of the pain in my thumbs ...

I must be a glutton for punishment! I've spent hours today cutting out 562 squares for the background of my Jelly Garden quilt!

I've decided to use the dark pink for the background. The white (it's much whiter than it looks in the photo) is a little bit too see-through, and the seams are going to show from the front. So dark pink it'll  have to be.

I haven't had a Xmas tree for ages, and I was determined to have one this year! This is a new 6ft tree from Debenhams (£100).
