Ooh, how exciting, I've now received the 1:48 scale furniture kits from Petite Properties! Some of it is going in the Yule Tide Christmas Shop.
I've also got the pre-cut wonky roof tiles, which I needed for Winterberry Hall. (Plus a pot of Top of the Milk paint and pre-cut (non-wonky) roof tiles which arrived damaged in a previous parcel.
And I also received - in another parcel - a small pack of Das for making floors and stuff. But I've since bought sheets of bricks and slates, so I'm not sure what I'm going to use. And of course I have the stencil from Bromley Crafts ...
I'm going from one thing to another at the moment, and it seems like I'm not getting round to finishing just one thing (except for the Yule Tide Christmas Shop - 1 tick!), but when I go past the Street of Shops in my corridor I get a great feeling of satisfaction. For years what was holding me back was making the furniture, and deciding on what kind of fittings I wanted to make for each shop, but now I'm getting there, and it feels great!
I got an e-mail from Jane Harrop today to say she was going to send the order I put in the other day, and did I want another kit, because at the shows there's an offer for a free kit when you buy 4 of the Quick Kits. I started to look at the kits to choose one, but then I remembered I'd wanted more of the crates. I ordered 4, but wished I'd got 6 ... so now I'll have 6!
